what I learned

10 Things I learned from running this 5k:

  1. make sure breasts are empty before running
  2. train longer than a week before the race
  3. I have an amazing husband
  4. 3 miles isn't as far as I thought
  5. make sure you have your keys b4 locking the car door
  6. I can nurse anywhere
  7. stretch b4 and after the race
  8. don't eat b4 the run
  9. my husband is my personal cheerleader
  10. running with my husband is WaY more fun than running by myself

Great job! Funny about the nursing--I ran a 5K when Sedona was about 6 weeks old and ran into the same problem LOL (oh, and by the way, it took me right at 45 minutes too and I had run a half marathon the week I found out I was pregnant, so I think you did awesome!)
