Running With Angels 5k (UPDATED)

I just got home from the 5k and thought I would let everyone know how it went. The course had a lot of hills and was much more difficult than the SLC 5k. If you're interested in the course here is the link http://www.runningwithangels.com/images/map3.jpg. The run was through the Gardens, SO Beautiful! They are having their Tulip festival right now and I saw some beautiful ones. I walked/ran most of the first mile, ran all the second and walked most of the third, due to the hills. I actually did this one in 44:30, or something like that. It was about 30 sec. slower than the SLC one and I feel good about that considering all the hills that were there and the fact that my asthma acted up. It was really fun though and Kaily ran with me the last 100 yds. She was really cute; she wanted to run the whole way with me. I ran this one alone; running with someone is SO much better than running by yourself. After the move I'll get my butt in gear and start working out again.
So I wanted to make sure not to repeat the same mistakes twice so the things I fixed for this run were: I fed Conner on both sides before I ran, I bought a new sports bra (one that actually fits), I put the keys in the diaper bag before locking the door, I put the camera in the stroller before we left (now if I can just remember to put extra batteries in it), I wore my ankle brace so my bad ankle wouldn't swell. The thing I need to remember about the next run is to TRAIN before I actually do it. You know (just a thought) if I actually trained for these things I might do a ton better than I have been doing. I have to admit though that part of me is afraid I might actually do worse. I know that sounds crazy, but sometimes that's how it seams to work. You do OK if you're not training and then you start to train and you do horrible and then after you have been training a while all of the sudden you are doing great. I know, I'm crazy. So as soon as we move I'll post the pictures of the event after I unpack the "thing". If someone knows what it's called feel free to make a comment about it and tell me. (=
