A Witchy Breakfast & A Pioneer Afternoon

Because Kaily had fall break last weekend we made some fun plans with friends and family.  Kaily and I started out Friday morning at Gardner Village where we joined some friends for a Witches breakfast.  It was lots of fun and I think we might do it again.  She got to dress up in her costume and dance around with the other witches.  then we walked around the village and found all the witches they had on display.  We both had a great time.

After the breakfast we met up with Tawnia and her girls to head up to This is the Place heritage park where the kids could go trick-or-treating and play fun games pioneer style.  They had lots of fun listening to a witch at the Witches Story corner tell her stories about ghosts and pumpkins.  We rode a train and they even got to do a little puppet show for us.  We were there all afternoon doing crafts, going on pony rides, petting pigs and goats, playing in a mini town and eating ice cream.  They also had a little parade for the kids in costume.  It was fun to do something we had never done before and Kaily said she would like to go back and see more things they have there when it's not Halloween.
