The Utah Valley Half

I signed up for the Utah Valley Half marathon back in February thinking it would motivate me to loose weight and train.  I did really good until I got tendinitis in my Achilles tendon.  Then when that was all healed I started running again until I pulled a muscle in my neck.  That set me back a few months.  Oh well, the run was coming and I wasn't going to back out of it.  So my childhood friend Heather joined me on the morning of June 9 at 4 am to run 13.1 miles.  We didn't do as well as I would have liked, but we finished and that's what's important.  We had a great time doing it though!
