A Memory

Angie gave this challenge on her blog, it looked like fun.
  1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you have about either Clint or myself or a memory that involves both of us.
  2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

cute background!!

two memories: when i was a senior in high school my mom worked in maryland a lot, so i was home alone a lot. one night i was all spooked out, well most nights, but this one night i called and asked if i could come over and you were my "mom" for a few hours. i was extremely appreciative, especailly considerng we really didn't know each other all too well at the time

#2 - doing your hair all pretty for a wedding you were going to. that was WAY fun and it looked, YOU looked, so gorgeous!

I know this isn't going to be a surprise, but my favorite memory was jogging with you. I loved that we were able to push ourselves and motivate each other, but I also loved being able to talk for an hour and get all of your insights.

Oh! I also remember the potty/water heater incident, when my apartment was flooded and you were such a HUGE support! Not only did you charge in there and help clean up, but you shared your super yummy dinner with us. You were such an example to me of a true christian. You made us feel so welcome, since we had only been in our apartment for 2 days!

Okay before I start, I haven't been around you that much. So this might seem a little weird. For some reason the memory that sticks out to me is when my brother and his wife got sealed, you and Clint came to Macaroni Grill with everyone afterward. I remember you ordered some kind of soup and you didn't like it. Sorry I don't have a more warm fuzzy memory. :)

So I totally left you a comment on this post a day or two ago. What the heck?! Oh well... I remember when I was up in Utah for Beau's wedding and without my husband there to help I was super stressed with my kids. You were so helpful and so calm and when you guys took Baily for a couple hours for me that helped me out so much. And I remember when Clint and I lived with Aunt Konny and how I would love to just listen to him play on the piano. I loved hearing him play and could listen for hours. Love you guys!

Well, i would have to say that it was when we were getting ready to play Catan at your house. We asked if our nephew could come over and clint asked "is that the one that cheats?" He is the only nephew i have. Everytime we play Catan, Josh, my nephew Colton, and I (Heidi), we always remember that questions.

I remember getting terrible cricks in my neck - so bad I couldn't turn my head. You worked them out for me. That was such a blessing!

I remember spending a day with you on splits or I may have just been with you and your companion for the day. You are a very patient, gentle, and strong teacher. I think we got poured on with rain at some point during the day too.

I remember how excited you were to get an ASL companion.
I love that we spent most of our mission near each other! I have tons of awesome P-day memories. Broom hockey was a blast!

You are always welcome to crash at my place!

I remember coming down to visit you guys in Provo and having pizza for dinner. It was so hot your little girl ran around in just her diaper. Andrew and Clint loved talking about all of the crazy things they did together while they lived out on the land.
