Reflections

WOW, turning 30! I'm doing a tribute to myself. Here are some pics of me growing up. I skipped Jr. High and High School simply b/c I don't want to dig those pics out. I don't know where they are. Happy Birthday to me. November 9, 1978. Not the most attractive picture.I don't know how old I am in this one. This is Jason, Me and Jon. I love this pic of us. I really miss them sometimes and all the great fun we used to have. The funny part about this picture is that I STILL have that blanket. It is all worn out and you can see through it, but I can't get myself to throw it out. 3 1/2 yrs 6 yrs. 8 yrs.My last Zone Conf. in the mission.

2003 2008

I am thankful to all the people I have met along this path, all the adventures I have had, all my wonderful friends that have helped me become who I am, mostly I grateful to my parents and husband for putting up with me.

I recognize that mission photo. What, you didn't want to do the one of the last p-day in the mission where we played flooded volleyball and through mud at the elders? mmmm...memories. It was fun following you around the mission. Looks like every part of your journey has been fun. I want to see those jr high and high school photos! Happy 30th!

Oh I remember these pictures. The memories are flooding in. Thanks for posting them, but I'm sorry that you had to do your own birthday post. I'm so grateful for you. You have blessed my life more than you will ever know. I'm grateful everyday for a friend who is also my daughter. You have given me so much and are always by my side in the craziness we call life. You have taught me so much, from the minute you were born. Thanks for standing in the "right" line. I love you.

sorry i'm so late on this ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRIEND!!

i can't believe you're 30. one of my fondest memories with you is from sometime in summer, i think it was a holiday with fireworks?? anyways, i remember we drove to pick up steve at work at macaroni grill, i acted deaf most of the day and somehow that got us free drinks at some park, and it was windy, and your car hit 100,000 miles as we drove down I-15 and we screamed at the top of our lungs like crazy people to celebrate. wow, really random and not well put together, but a memory, a good memory, nonetheless.

This is really late, but I have to confess I haven't been on any of the blogs for a while. I want you to know how proud I am of you. It seems you turned out ok after you spent the summer keeping weeds out of the garden. I loved the pictures. I can certainly see Kaily and Conner. You have been a special daughter and I love and appreciate you so much. I will admit I do take a somewhat perverse satisfaction as I watch you deal with a very precocious daughter and son. You are a wonderful wife, mother and daughter and I am so proud of you. I am so glad I can still call you daddy's little girl. I love you and hope you have another great year. Dad
