Sunday Jan 11, 2009

We went to Hollywood Studios on Sunday. Clint and I were going to go out on Saturday night, but we could hardly move, so we ended up staying in the hotel room all night with his family. We watched the Cardinals game with his cousin and then crashed so that we could get up early to go to the park. Sarah and Karly, Clint's cousins joined us. When we got there we headed straight for the Twilight of Terror ride. It was SO much fun and we didn't even have to wait. We spent all day there. We all looked funny though hobbling along like we were. I think I was the only one not in so much pain. Poor Clint hurt himself in the run and every one had a bit of soreness in their legs that made it hard to go up and down stairs and in and out of rides. We had so much fun though. Clint really likes the Pixar block party and was jealous that these people got paid to do what he did growing up. He said, "If my parents only knew..." I was so glad that we went without the kids. There are so many things we were able to do b/c we didn't have them. Someday I hope we can all go as a family, but not until the kids are MUCH older. Clint killed me on the Toy Story carnival game ride. He ended up with something like 200,000 pts and I got maybe 110,000 pts; it's a 3-d ride. We also saw a great mini performance of Beauty and the Beast, rode the Arowsmith Rockin roller caster ride and got to watch some cool stunt shows. We also got to meet some fun Pixar characters.

Karen, you are amazing. Just reading these post made me need a nap. I took one. I'm still tired and cranky and couldn't run 13 miles even if someone paid me...well, I might be able to. However, I wouldn't live to tell about it...let alone blog about it...much less enjoy it.

You are really an inspiration to me! Hope you are doing well!
