C: "Mom, you're NOT the boss!"

Me: "Who is the boss then?"

C: "YOU'RE the boss!"

C: "Mom, you can change my bum," said as if this were the best present he could give me.

Me: "When are you going to start using the potty like a big boy?"

C: "I'm not a big boy, Mommy, I'm just your Conner."

Me: "Conner, I'm talking on the phone, can you wait a minute?"

C: Grabs my face and pulls it towards him, "I need your attention RIGHT NOW or you will have a TIME OUT."

Me: "K can I have my time out now?"

C: "NOPE you need to listen to me and not the phone."

C: "Mommy, can you read me this book and hold me for a while?" It's hard to resist him.

C: "See those flowers, we need to buy flowers for Grandma cuz that would make her SO happy."

C: "I need to go to Grandma's house today." As we are driving to get Kaily from school.

Me: "We do? But Grandma isn't home."

C: "Then we can pick her up from wk, that would make her happy. And then Papa can buy pizza A N D Kaily can have a play date with Marti and I can have a play date with Grandma and you and Corvin can go shopping." (he can't say the b in Corbin's name.)

Me: "Conner, Grandma is on a trip."

C: "Then I will wait for her on her lawn."

C: "Mommy, I love you."
