While driving in the car yesterday Kaily and I had this conversation after she had been going on and on about something. To be honest, I had tuned out b/c she had been going on so long about the same thing, The Little Mermaid.
Kaily, "Mom, do you know what?"
Me, "What Kaily?"
Kaily, "You need to take every opportunity to talk to me. I won't be little forever you know?"
I'm so glad she reminds me of these things from time to time.

Oh my Kaily "bug", you are wise beyond your years. Hold onto your little ones, they "DON'T" stay little forever. One day they are inquisitive, the next they are telling you they know it all. WOW, I love this little girl. She tells me that she will always be my granddaughter, and my best friend. I hope she is. Every day I spend with my grandchildren is a gift. I know life may be short so I try to make every minute count.
