Everywhere we go Kaily makes new friends. She is so loving and accepting of everyone. In a matter of min. she will tell you all about our family, each person's name and where we live as well as where we used to live. She is especially proud to introduce her little brother. She talks about him all the time. We were at a wedding reception last night for one of Clint's friends and she sat down at a table with a bunch of Grandparents, had her cake and drink in front so she could eat, and as I left I could hear her say, "That's just my mom, her name is Karen and my name is Kaily and Karen is holding Conner, my little brother and she is going to talk to my dad, Clinton." Now that we had been introduced she could eat her cake. When I went back to the table to sit, only a few min. later she was telling them all what she was going to be when she grew up and that she was going to get married and have children of her own. As I sat down they all commented on how polite she is and how cute she is. Next thing I know she's off at another table doing the same thing. I don't know whether to be thankful she is so independent and NOT shy or to be scared.
Some things that she has said to me recently... After getting angry with her she turns to me and says, "Mom, don't you understand that you don't reprimand your daughter." (from Little Mermaid) "Mom, when I was little I used to do silly things." Me, "As apposed to now when you're so big?" "Yes like, you know, 10 years ago." (said very serious). She is giggling as she says this, "Mama you're kissing Dad again, you must really love him."
One thing is for sure, life is never dull with her around.

Life is never dull when your with Kaily. She is her mother's daughter though. Karen was never the one to just sit and watch, she wanted to participate. She made friends just as easily and was the center of attention. But then I guess she had to, she grew up with twin brothers who always got the spotlight. Looking at Kaily is looking at the reflection of her mother; love for everyone, and a smile to bring you joy.
Cute but scary. I've been trying to work with Taylor on not talking to total strangers. She'll tell them her name and how old she is and Logans too. It's cute when it's someone we know, but stranger danger otherwise.
We've talked about Stanger Danger, she either doesn't get it or she doesn't care. I think the problem may lie in the fact that strangers talk to me all the time. I think she thinks that if it's ok for me to do it than it MUST be ok for her too.
I love it! You've got your own little PR Department! So cute.
I love your blog! It is so fun. Your kids are adorable. It will be fun to hear the funny things my little one says. Isn't it great being a mom? :)
