What's been going on at our house

you may have noticed that there has been a lot of posts put up recently and that is because I am finally putting up all the ones I have previously written, but couldn't find the time to finish.  We have been busy around our house these past few weeks.  So what have we been doing?

Clint has lots to do in school this semester and he has been hardly home.  It's going to be a challenging one, but he is learning a lot.

Kaily is LOVING school and her teacher.  I go in to help every Tuesday and Friday and I have enjoyed that.  She is reading at the top of her class and her math skills aren't far behind.  It looks like all those fights we had during the summer about doing math and reading is paying off.  She has made lots of new friends this year and I think we are going to put her in Girl Scouts with some of her school mates.  I am loving the conversations we have about the many things happening in her life.  She, as you can see below, has started soccer and it really enjoying that also.

Conner is a little more challenging than he used to be.  With Kaily being in school all day he needs someone to play with.  My attention cannot be on him alone all the time with Corbin around and he knows it.  He's a good kid most of the time, but he takes advantage of the times I have to be with Corbin.  We are still working on the whole potty training.  He's does pretty well during the day.  We are also working on the sounds of the alphabet and number recognition.  He would rather play on the computer all day.

For information on Corbin see below.

I have been busy with the kids and Clint.  I have also been canning a few things.  In the past month I have bottled 15 pints and 19 quarts of spaghetti sauce, 24 pints of green beans, 7 pints and 1 quart of tomatoes and 4 pints of salsa.  We still have broccoli coming and I have to cut it twice a week in order for it not to go to seed and our sun burst and roma cherry tomatoes are going crazy.  We have had a great turn out with our squash as well and if I didn't already have 10 quarts frozen I would do more.  Like I said above, I go to Kaily's school twice a week and I also go to the gym 3-4x a week.  Homework, meal cooking, putting kids down for naps, laundry, dishes and all the other normal house hold stuff and that takes up my week.

That's what has been going on at our house.
