In our house decorating eggs isn't just about dying them different colors. Since being married to Clint I've learned it's more like a form of art. His are WAY more elaborate than I would do, but he IS the artist.
The orange ones are Clint's attempt to draw an armadillo and the dark green one is a bunny face and then the light green one Kaily asked me to draw a smiley face.
On a VERY cold, 17 degree, Saturday morning we went to the South Ogden Easter Egg hunt. As you can see from the pics there is snow on the ground. The kids hands were so cold by the time we finished that we just in the car and went home for some nice hot coco. Conner didn't cooperate with me to take pics of him because he was SO cold. They were good sports about it though. While other kids all around were crying mine were, I think too cold to cry and they wanted the eggs. Neither one came away with very much, but they were happy to go.
Later that day we decorated eggs between Conference sessions. Kaily was so excited that she got everything out and helped me get the eggs ready and even put newspaper all over the table so we wouldn't mess it up. Conner was very careful as he decorated each egg.
Clint's mom came to stay with us the last couple days of March 
and the kids were So excited to see her. We had lots of fun with her while we went shopping, played board games and read stories. The kids love to be read to and Grandma didn't disappoint at all. She was so animated while reading Going on a Bear Hunt that the kids asked her to read it over and over again before bed time.
I love that he loves to play outside and I love that he's SO boy, what I don't like is the muddy sandy mess he leaves in the bathroom when I'm done taking all his clothes off to put him in the tub. Oh well, it's only Spring and Summer is around the corner, I think I have A LOT more of these days ahead of me. Besides, he still looks so dang cute even with the dirt all over him.
I woke up the morning of April 1 to find this. I guess this was Mother Nature's way of playing an April Fools joke.
