Playing with Cousins

While we in Idaho we went to Carter's football game, but the kids were more interested in the park and how could I resist an opportunity to get some get cousin and Grandma playing pictures.

Carter's Baptism

In early April we all went to Idaho for Carter's baptism.  It was great to see him making a commitment to something he felt strongly about.  It was also great to be there with so much family.  Carter we are poud of you and the choices you made this day!

March Review

In regards to our goals for March, here's how we did...

  • We managed to read the Book of Mormon 95% of the time and have meaningful discussions about half of that.
  • I did read with the boys more, but that still needs to be something to work on
  • Sold two of Kaily's items, but decided to not do anything with that project just yet
  • We did throw a lot of stuff away as well as get rid of some other things, but this too needs some more work
  • We did have FHE and the kids are enjoying doing it.

General Conference

We talked with our kids this year about what they wanted to do between conference so they could get their wiggles out.  We gave them a few options and Kaily had heard me taking to friend of mine about some of their traditions so we talked about that too.  My friend does something like the Olympics and other friends do races or other things.  Kaily took all those in mind when she came up with her idea.  Kaily got her brothers and Dad together to make their own kind of traditions.  I was to watch and take pictures as I was directed by her.  What came out of it was a Circus, literally.  I'll let the pictures explain what happened.  Kaily was the ringmaster, of course...

Spring is here

We have been cleaning up the ground where our garden is, I have spent 3 days weeding and racking up debris that has flown into my yard over the fall and winter months.  My dad was kind enough to bring us some compost and a tiller to get the ground ready to plant.  I'll post picks of the progression so you all can see.  I am VERY excited for this years garden.
Walls of water waiting to be filled
Drip system waiting to be placed
Peach blossoms, we're praying it doesn't freeze.
