Spring is here

We have been cleaning up the ground where our garden is, I have spent 3 days weeding and racking up debris that has flown into my yard over the fall and winter months.  My dad was kind enough to bring us some compost and a tiller to get the ground ready to plant.  I'll post picks of the progression so you all can see.  I am VERY excited for this years garden.
Walls of water waiting to be filled
Drip system waiting to be placed
Peach blossoms, we're praying it doesn't freeze.

Not Computer Savvy

I think I'm ok with computers, I think I can follow simple instructions, and I can, unless what I'm trying to do doesn't make any sense.  For example, we recently got a new modem for the computer, and we have two computers so I wanted to link them.  I followed all the instructions did everything I was told to do.  The modem works for both computers, but I can't link them.  I don't know what is wrong and I don't know how to fix it.  It's all quite frustrating for me.

100 years of Girl Scouts

Today Kaily and I had a great opportunity to go to the Utah State Capital for the 100th birthday of GS.  We got to listen to Gov. Herbert speak and some other state representatives that were in Girl Scouts when they were younger.  We met up with other Daisy troops there and Kaily made some new friends.  She thought the dancing was silly, but so did I when I first started.  They gave us some yummy cupcakes and punch to celebrate the occasion.

Corbin goes sledding

This year has been a VERY mild winter so we haven't taken the kids to go sledding yet.  But on the first it snowed enough to go for a day.  It's good we did, it was all melted by today.  So on Friday we took the kids to a near by park and let them go for an hr.  Corbin was too little last year to be in the snow and we didn't have the stuff for him anyway.  He wanted to walk in all by himself and try to climb the hill all by himself, that didn't last long.  One fall and he was done.  He did like going down the hill as long as Mom or Dad held him tight.  Too bad the tube went flat and we had to go home.

Massage

This morning I gave a co-worker of Clint's a massage cuz her back is all screwed up.  In the past I have done massage on and off and sometimes I like it and others I don't.  I don't think I would like to work for someone else doing it, but I like to do things on my own and charge people what I think is fair, or not at all.  I have also decided a massage therapist is not what I really what I want to be. While I DO enjoy giving most people massages, what I love most about it isn't the massage itself, but the feeling I get when I help someone who needed help, someone who wanted help.  Clint and I have talked back and forth about this and I think when he is done with school and all my kids are in school I will go back and get a new degree, one like Personal Trainer or Nutritionist.  I am very grateful for my degree in Massage and it has taught me many great things in life and given me such a different perspective than I would have had, but I think it was a stepping stone to a greater calling, one that I look forward to starting someday.
