Time is going by

Happy June 1 everyone! Can you believe it's the beginning of summer? Personally I feel like this year is flying by and, really, it's NOT going to slow down anytime soon. May was full of fun events and I will blog about them later today, hopefully. They will be under this one so look for them under May dates. ANY WAY...June is going to start out slow get supper busy and then slow down just in time for July to get crazy. I have to admit I am VERY excited for July. My whole family will be in one place for a few days and that hasn't happened since my little bro got married 4 yrs ago. My bestest friend in the entire world is coming to stay with us for an entire week. I haven't seen her in 2 yrs and her kids in probably 3. Lots more to do and we will have so much fun with all of it. In there somewhere is lots of trips to the lake, swimming lessons, Clint's school wk, trips to the zoo, train rides and so much more. Yes, this is the beginning of a VERY busy summer.

Today is one of those days when you're pregnant. You know, those days when there is a tear ready to drop in a matter of seconds for no reason at all, feelings of an indescribable nature, moments of contemplating...basically a perfect day to blog to get my mind off all that I need to do and should be doing but don't really feel like. I guess it doesn't really help that it's been cloudy and rainy all day. I think I REALLY need some good days of sunshine and kids playing outside.

Kaily's last field trip

Pretend you're 5 and your school takes you to a giant bounce house with lots of fun tunnels and ropes to climb and slides to go down. And them you have Pirates cove to go explore and get lost in. Now pretend that you had 2 hrs to just do whatever you wanted in there. Yeah, my kids had a blast!

Conner's May

Conner LOVES to watch "The Princess and the Frog". May 1 Conner came upstairs with one of Kaily's tiaras on his head. It was upside down and when I asked him why he said "Princess and Frog, I frog." He was so cute that I had to take pics of him. He likes to dress up with Kaily and pretend with her. He was also trying to get me to play his version of tea party, which means you put everything you can in the teapot and then pour it on the floor. Usually it's just some of Kaily's other dress-up things.

Conner also likes to help us do lots of things around the house. About May 5 Kaily and I were gone doing something and Clint and Conner were left home. Clint decided to let Conner "help" wash the dishes. After convincing Conner to NOT climb in the sink Clint handed him all the things that were nonbreakable to try to wash. (Clint washed them all again before putting them away.)

After all this I got tired of his hair so I cut it all off. It's much shorter than I wanted it at first, but now that it's been a month it's not so bad. He was great while I cut it and even looks more like a Kemp, if that's possible, with it short.

Where have I been?

It's been 1 month...Why the hiatus? No, it's not FB. It's not really even the fact that this month has been packed full of events. The truth is I get on line to look at vans that are for sale and after looking for a few hrs and calling or discussing the options with Clint I have lost any desire to be on here. I DON'T want to write and I don't feel like doing anything else on the comp until I sit down and repeat the process all over again.

We hope to find a van soon...Until them though, don't be surprised if I don't post a lot. I do have some pics I want to put on here, so that will come later, again when I want to spend more time on this contraption doing something other than looking for a new ride. Until then, hope you had a great month and hope June will be great too.
